An evening of FREE Halloween fun at Googong
5–9pm Saturday 31 October 2015
ZBewaaare! Those who miss out on Boogong – our frighteningly fun Halloween event – are destined to regret their choice… FOR ALL ETERNITY. Not surprising, really, when you consider all the great things happening. So dress up as your favourite Halloween creature, pack a picnic, enjoy the live music and let your little monsters out to play in our specially spookified Beltana Park. It’ll be so fun… it’s scary!
There’s plenty on to keep spooks of all ages – from the very young, to the young at heart – happily entertained. Here’s what’s on at Boogong:
- Trick or treating for the kids at the Googong Display Village (5.00–6.30pm)
- ‘Lavers’ playing live in Beltana Park (7.30-8.30pm)
- Roaming street performers and entertainers
- Haunted graveyard
- Mad scientist
- The Witch’s Den
- Giant spider web
- A horrifying blood pond* (*May not be real blood)
- FIREWORKS at 9pm
Free bus service
There will be two buses departing Queanbeyan Interchange at 4.15pm, and two buses departing from Woden Interchange Bay 18 at 4.00pm. Return buses will depart from Googong at 9.15pm.
Boogong will be on rain, hail or shine!
