ROADWORKS COMMENCE

Last month work commenced on the $11.75 million extension of the Edwin Land Parkway from Jerrabomberra to Old Cooma Road. It will be completed in around eight months and is part of a wider traffic improvements program for the region, which will also see work on Old Cooma Road and the quarry bypass next year. These initiatives are part of the Queanbeyan 2031 Roads Strategy to improve traffic flow and connectivity between the new town of Googong, Jerrabomberra, Queanbeyan and Canberra.
