Googong vision receives tick of approval

Draft Queanbeyan Local Environmental Plan 2007 [Googong] (DLEP) on public exhibition

Queanbeyan City Council has put the DLEP on public exhibition. This is the planning instrument that, once approved by the Minister for Planning, will rezone the land and determine what kind of development can occur on it. Go to the Council's website for more information.

Submissions regarding the rezoning of Googong and the DLEP must be sent to Queanbeyan City Council by 15th February 2008.

Googong Concept Master Plan Consultations

Canberra Investment Corporation Limited (CIC) is the largest landowner in the area and has prepared a concept plan to illustrate the type of development that could be delivered to Googong under the DLEP.  CIC is committed to consulting the community and is keen to hear your views about its early plans.

CIC's consultation process  is being conducted independently of Queanbeyan City Council's public exhibition process. Comments on the concept plan should be addressed to CIC through the feedback page.
